Yes! It’s very helpful. It will help me understand the vibe you’re going for and capture your vision for mixing and mastering in this project, including considerations for balances, effects, and more.

However, please note that the demo mix cannot serve as a reference for the mixing and mastering process. We welcome references from songs that are pertinent to the current industry and have been officially released on streaming platforms.

Feel free to send us a reference track that reflects the sound you prefer. If you don’t have a reference track, no problem; we’ll choose something similar to your song.

3 revisions are included with every song. There’s a +$25.00 revision fee for revision requests more than 3.

I work with any genre. I have mixed and and/or mastered music from all genres.

I’m located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Specifically in midtown Toronto.

99% of the time I mix using only the highest quality, industry standard audio processing plugins. There’s are rare times where using a piece of analog equipment can do what software can’t, but it’s rare.

With today’s modern plugins and digital signal processing capabilities, there’s almost no way to tell the difference between analog equipment and plugins. The majority of commercially successful artists use plugins with many having used 100% only digital plugins.

We specialize in mastering tailored to the specifications of Spotify, with a primary focus on optimizing volume. This ensures that your track sounds its best on the platform, as standard mastering techniques can sometimes lead to over-compression.

For Apple Digital Masters, a different approach is required due to the AAC format, which demands specific headroom and techniques to deliver superior audio quality to customers. This option is exclusive and cannot be applied to regular iTunes releases. Opting for Apple Digital Masters will feature the badge on your music release. Please note that Apple Digital Masters files must be mastered at an Apple Official Mastering engineer.

Manual Vocal Tuning

Manual Vocal Editin Tuning is pitch correction using a combination of Melodyne and Autotune to create gentle sounding perfect pitch vocals.

When you are preparing your song(s) for export, consolidate each of your vocal tracks so each one has no edits and are in the correct place relative to the songs timeline.

Usually there will be no robotic effect on the voice. But it depends on how out of tune you are. I can also highlight the effect of autotune if that’s the style you’re going for.

Mastering Only

Please bypass all the processing from the master bus. Make sure, that the peak values are no louder than -6dB. Files should be delivered as a 24 or 32 bit .wav file at their native sample rates.

Mastering involves the finalization and preparation of a track for distribution, ensuring it achieves industry-standard loudness, an appropriate equalization curve, and more. While mastering can enhance the overall sound quality, it’s important to note that mastering engineers cannot rectify mixing errors. If you believe your mix could benefit from some assistance without significant alterations, you may consider opting for Stem Mastering.

Stem mastering involves the mastering engineer utilizing pre-rendered buses for drums, bass, accompaniment, vocals, and background vocals to create the final master. This approach grants the mastering engineer greater flexibility in addressing certain mistakes and enhancing the overall sound quality. Nonetheless, it’s advisable to strive for a mix that is as polished as possible initially, rather than relying solely on post-production corrections.

You need to export Drums, Bass, Accompaniment, FX, Lead Vocal, and Background vocal stems. Make sure, that the peaks values are no louder than -6dB. Files should be delivered as a 24 or 32 bit .wav file at their native sample rates.
